A friend came in to visit this weekend and we went over to Zilker Botanical Park.
Such a lovely place! We only managed to hit a couple of the areas but I plan on going back soon and finish walking around. Here is small collage of some of my face pics I took on our walk.
Lisa at Ask Cosmetics sent out a call for another set of participants for the Total Nail Transformation Challenge. After participating in the Beach Ready Nail Challenge, I had to participate!
As before, I had to send in a picture of my nails before I started the challenge.
I received my kit last week and in order to start this challenge off well, I cut all my nails short. So any length in the pictures above went away. Following the instructions that came in with the kit, I started applying the Tips for Toes on my mails after cleaning with the Revival Hand and Nail cleaner. The routine is then finished up with the Revival Skin Conditioning Milk.
Here is the progress after a week of following this routine:
Quite a bit of growth for just a week! I really love how silky soft my skin feels once I put on the skin conditioning milk. It makes my skin happy! 😀
Can’t wait to see the results next week! Thanks Lisa! Thanks Ask Cosmetics!!
My Beauty Box came in!
I am really excited by all the great products to try out. The items included are:
- NYC New York Color Individual Eyes Custom Compact
- Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit
- Bath and Beauty Works Mini Candle in Pumpkin Cupcake
- EBoost in Orange
- Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin
- Not Your Mother’s Smooth Moves Frizz Control hair cream
This week will be all about trying out and testing! Stay tuned for review updates! 😀
I just got notification that I will be receiving their new beauty box to product test and I am incredibly excited! I’ll be sure to post pics as soon as it gets in!
yay! Thanks Influenster!
I’ve settled on a Flapper Medusa for my costume for a Monster Mash party. I’ve been working on my face make up and been experimenting with the eye make up.
The influence came from Carah Amelie though I didn’t do it anywhere as much justice as she did.
I did find a wig that I could sew snakes into and while I still need to do that, I think the look is coming together well!
I need to work on getting the scale look a little better on my cheeks and chin but all in all, pretty pleased with the results!
I have a little under a month to get a costume together for some friend’s who will be moving away next summer so this will be their last Halloween party. The theme?
The theme is Movie Monsters through the Decades. (So mash up your favorite monster with a decade in time.).i.e. a hippie werewolf or a vampire WW II soldier. The sky is the limit and costumes are required.
I am drawing a complete blank! Would you help a girl out? 😀
